Field Manager Headhunter
Ewvie has validated commercial product-market fit: our bundled plantain chips sell rapidly across open markets, neighborhood kiosks, and supermarkets along the Lekki-Epe Expressway corridor, reordering every 3 to 5 days.
Our single largest growth constraint is finding battle-tested Field Operations Managers to run corridor retail routes, manage inventory, and recruit frontline sales reps. We are bypassing corporate agencies and working directly with freelance talent headhunters like you.
Your role is to identify, vet, and place corridor-resident Field Operations Managers to take command of route distribution and retail inventory operations.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- •Source, screen, and introduce experienced FMCG route coordinators and sales supervisors.
- •Vet candidates strictly against field reality: verify track record of FMCG route sales, territory navigation, and daily stock/cash reconciliation.
- •Only put forward candidates living locally along the Lekki-Ajah axis. Commuting from the Mainland burns people out from traffic and transit costs in two weeks.
- •Coordinate founder interview introductions and stay in touch through the candidate’s initial onboarding trial.
Major Requirements
- •Demonstrated track record as a grassroots talent recruiter or ex-FMCG route supervisor in Lagos.
- •Active personal network of route managers across the Lekki-Epe corridor (Jakande, Ajah, Sangotedo, Awoyaya, Lakowe).
- •Deep understanding of street-level retail physics, FMCG route sales, and cash reconciliation discipline.
Compensation
Earn a ₦100,000 performance bounty for each qualified Field Operations Manager placed, paid upon the candidate completing their 30-day route probation and agreed performance KPIs.
